Am I held accountable for my sin when I didn’t ask to be born?

Many people struggle with the concept of original sin, particularly the idea that they are held accountable for sins they did not personally commit. This can lead to feelings of frustration, anger, and confusion, especially for those who feel that they did not choose to be born into a sinful world. So, the question arises: am I held accountable for my sin when I didn’t ask to be born?

According to a survey conducted by Barna Group, 46% of American adults believe that people are inherently good, while 44% believe in the concept of original sin.

However, we are all born into a world with the knowledge of good and evil. Whether we like it or not, we have a responsibility to choose what is right and reject what is wrong. While some may argue that they did not ask to be born into this world, we make choices every day that result in either good or bad consequences. Therefore, it is fair to say that we are accountable for our actions, regardless of whether we asked to be born or not. Ultimately, it is up to each individual to take responsibility for their choices and strive towards a life of righteousness.
